How many times have you run into a web site that still lists a status of, “under construction”? I remember the little animated GIF from back in the day (wow, back in the day??) of a pounding hammer and construction sign. It used to amuse me because at first it provided some presence on the site, letting me know that its maker is working on it. After 5 months though, it doesn’t mean much other than I need to delete the site from my bookmarks.
Chain Eating
In Continental on May 9, 2010 at 9:04 pmI’m not a big fan of chain restaurants for 2 main reasons: (a) they have boring food and (b) almost 90% of the menu is loaded with cheese topping. All in all, I usually avoid them. Here and there though, I have to concede because my husband and I are night owls and usually run some pretty late nights that make dinner challenging by choice, but not a smart one.
Tiny Tenshi for Two
In Sushi on May 9, 2010 at 8:39 pmIf you were to find a pretty perfect food that was healthy, well balanced in protein, carbohydrates, nutritious in fiber and vegetables then sushi and salads are what you should be looking for. For where I live, Calgary is difficult with its selection of sushi restaurants. Really, you have to keep your eyes peeled for good sushi restaurants that are not the all-you-can-eat establishments. Quality ends up being compromised somehow unless if you are in Kuala Lumpur at KLCC where I vividly remember the best EVER sushi buffet I have ever had the pleasure to sit in at.
